But without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6
And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” Hebrews 10:38
What is faith?
Definition 1 – It is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
Elaboration: the substance is what you want, the evidence is your answer, hope is agreeing you have your answer once you have told God about it in prayer.
Definition 2 – Faith simply means you believe God exists and there is no impossibility with Him.
Elaboration: What I want might be bigger but God is bigger so I have already received what I want because I asked God for it
As human beings live by oxygen, the righteous (the believer or the just) lives by faith.
Faith is not just a state of the mind, it is a nature and a state of being, if a believer must have what they want or please God, then they must believe that He is (God exists) and He rewards those who diligently seek Him.
You must have faith.
How to get faith or stay in faith, read the Bible or hear God’s words and do the following 4 things:
By the help of the Holy Spirit
With an open mind as a Child, believing all that the Holy Spirit is interpreting to you as you read or hear the word
Practice what you have received from the word by the Holy Spirit
Deliberately insist on faith at all times, even when your answer is not in sight like the 3 Hebrew boys before they were thrown in the furnace.
